With the trend of customer-centricity, omnichannel has become one of the key strategies for brands. But once we have made our content omnichannel and personalisation-ready, how do we actually unify the business processes and behaviours that drive all these experiences?
A platform to support omnichannel business, therefore, becomes imperative, which should come with lower cost and shorter Time-to-Market, when quick process changes are needed for rapidly evolving business needs.
A business process modelling tool allows the business user to graphically design and change the business processes and business rules in a low-code fashion, liberating software changes from traditional development cycles. Channel-agnostic business processes are stored in an abstract layer, where different channels can consume the same business logic and rules.
This way, unnecessary redundancies and hidden inconsistencies in multichannel architectures and processes are eliminated. In this talk, we will introduce these concepts and technology, and demo how we can model end-to-end business processes with embedded business rules.
What you’ll learn
- How to support Omnichannel strategy with unified business processes
- How to provide both customer and business perspectives in the process modelling
- How to connect business processes with your supporting software and data model
